The third meeting is about writing but the tools introduced are kind of formal. They were presented so that you can benefit from them not only by using them with your students but also, on your own. Among all the participants of this course, we can find teachers who work at university or in the tertiary level and these tools are perfect from the academic point of view.
I also want you to have fun when writing and trying other more creative or le't s say "more fun" tools so that's why I'm including this extension.
LOL

SMORE
Smore makes it easy to design beautiful and effective online flyers and newsletters. They have a special service for educators but you we have to pay so let's just join for free.
What is a flyer? A flyer or flier, also called a circular, handbill or leaflet, is a form of paper advertisement intended for wide distribution and typically posted or distributed in a public place or through the mail.
What is a newsletter? A newsletter is a regularly distributed publication that is generally about one main topic of interest to its subscribers. Newspapers and leaflets are types of newsletters.

TASK
- Of course, this tool has been designed to create flyers or newsletter and we can ask our students to create theirs but we can also be creative and ask our students to create not only a flyer or newsletter but also, personal leaflets with different purposes: to introduce themselves, to promote their favourite city, band, singer, etc. You can be really creative and exploit this tool as you want. So, be imaginative and creative and design your own product. Choose the topic you like the most. Send me the link to veronica73.arg@gmail.com
